Chavit Singson Reveals Miss Universe 2019 Pageant will be held in South Korea
CHAVIT SINGSON – Former politician and businessman Chavit Singson revealed that the Miss Universe 2019 will be held in South Korea.
Luis Crisologo Singson or better known as Chavit Singson was the former governor of Ilocos Sur. He is the owner of the LCS Group of Companies.
Chavit is one of the well-known businessmen in the Philippines. His family’s business includes a radio station, tobacco plantation, movie houses and transport buses among others.
Chavit Singson worked as a politician for 28 years and currently provides support to the new leaders of his province.
The businessman takes pride in his wildlife sanctuary he called Baluatre which he personally designed. It is a zoo that protects endangered species such as buffalo, lions, and rhino.
Following a previous article, Catriona Gray arrived in the Philippines via Chavit Singson’s private jet. Catriona and her staff were accompanied by Chavit and his daughter Richel.
Chavit disclosed that the Filipina beauty queen just went back to the country for a charity event and will be leaving very soon for New York.
Based on a report from ABS-CBN, Chavit Singson financially supported the Miss Universe Organization for a few years now.
“Dati na akong tumutulong kasi sa Miss Universe, mula noong ako’y nag-sponsor, taon-taon tumutulong ako sa kanila,” said Chavit.
According to the report, Chavit also revealed the location for next year’s Miss Universe pageant. He said he helped the organization secure a place for 2019’s pageant.
“Next year, na-arrange ko na, sa South Korea, at sasama ang North Korea, kaya maganda ang exposure ni Catriona ‘pag tinurn-over na, itu-turn over niya sa next Miss Universe,” Chavit said.
Chavit Singson surely is a rich and powerful businessman to be able to financially support this prestigious event.
