7-Eleven To Give P500,000 for Anyone Who Can Break PH Record Run

The popular convenience store 7-Eleven will give P500,000 to anyone who can break the Philippine Record in 42-kilometer run.

Jun Ang, the general merchandise manager and division head of Philippine Seven Corporation announced that they will give a huge amount of cash on the 7-Eleven running event.

Ang said that the company would give half a million peso to anyone who could break the record.

The running event will be held at the regional office of 7-Eleven at the Bigfoot Building along F. Ramos Street in Cebu City.

“We decided to give a P500,000 cash prize for the male and female marathoner who will break the Philippine record to make this race more exciting at the same time encourage our marathoners to give their very best during the race,” Ang said.

Eduardo Buenavista is the current title holder of men’s Philippine record with two hours, 18 minutes, and 44 seconds.

7-Eleven

Buenavista made the record last February 2004 while Cristabel Martes logged the record of 2:38.44 in July 2005 in Manila.

The 7-Eleven Run 2019 will be held in Metro Manila and Davao City on the 3rd of February next year.

The top 3 in the 21k, 32k, and 42k 2019 event would also compete in the international marathon race.

The 42k champions of this event could receive P25,000.
