Southwest Airlines, US Passenger Plane was forced to U-turn during travel from Seattle to Dallas after discovering a human heart on board.
The plane on-board was forced to turn back after three hours of travel after recovering a human organ in the middle of the flight.
The aircraft was never unloaded and the human heart was just only noticed when the plane reached almost half-way to Dallas.
The human organ was not intended for a specific patient but still, the plane turns back hours into its flight after the discovery.

Some of the passengers even used the phone to determine the lifespan of the human heart and found that it could only last up to four to six hours.
According to some reports, the plane was already flying in the air for already three hours and the flight emergency info ‘played in error’.
The organ was taken to a donor health center for tissue storage after it was delivered by the airline within the required period of time.
