GSW Superstar Stephen Curry Accepts NASA’s Offer to Visit Its Lunar Lab

The American basketball player Stephen Curry accepted NASA’s offer to visit its lunar laboratory after he sparked controversy.

Stephen Curry agreed to visit the lunar laboratory of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) after stating that he did not believe humans have been to the Moon.

NASA spokesman Allard Beutel invited the NBA superstar to visit the Johnson Space Center in Houston.

“Mr. Curry (is) taking us up on our offer, we still need to work out all the visit details,” Beutel said.

The 30-year-old athlete backtracked and later called his controversial statement a joke and can’t believe how people take it seriously.

The Golden State guard has also expressed his willingness to educate his self after accepting the space agency’s offer.

“I am definitely going to take up on their offer. I am going to educate myself firsthand on everything that NASA has done and shine a light on their tremendous work over the years,” Curry said quoted by GMA.

The space agency landed about 12 American astronauts on the Moon from 1962-1972.
