Baclaran Recently Facing Heavy Traffic Than Before, Four Lanes Occupied By Vendors This Holiday Season
BACLARAN – The four lanes along the service road in Baclaran, Parañaque City are occupied by vendors, thus, causing heavy traffic for this holiday season.
According to a report from GMA News via an Unang Balita report by Darlene Cay, the area is experiencing traffic due to the vast amount of motorists and vendors who crowded the Baclaran church.
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) personnel have put barriers along the service road, thus, it is expected to undergo clearing operations.
Celine Pialago, MMDA spokesperson , said that they will look further into the traffic situation in the area. She added that it’s inevitable that vendors would come to the area but the MMDA will evacuate those vendors who are totally obstructing the four lanes as these worsen the traffic.
As per the report, Pialago will check the local government’s decision regarding that matter, noting that those who worsen the traffic are the ones they will simply evict.
