Scheduled Power Interruption Announced by Meralco (December 10)

The Manila Electric Company (Meralco) announced a scheduled power interruption over some parts of the country on the 10th day of December.

On Monday (December 10, 2018), Meralco sets a scheduled power interruption over several areas in Metro Manila.

The electric power distribution company announced that parts of Sta. Mesa and Sampaloc in Metro Manila would experience a power interruption between 9:00 am until 2:00 pm in the afternoon.

The power outage will affect the 1st Street along V.Mapa in Sta. Mesa due to the line reconstruction.

In Sampaloc, electricity blackout starting 11:30 pm up to 4:30 am (Tuesday – December 11) are expected along F. Cayco Street.

The power interruption was due to the reconstruction of electric facilities in the area to be conducted by the electric company.

Meralco or formerly known as Manila Electric Railroad and Light Company is one of the biggest electric power distribution company in the Philippines supplying power to 22 cities and 89 municipalities over the National Capital Region (NCR).
