Direct Cebu-Macau Flights Officially Launched by Cebu Pacific
The Philippine low-cost airline Cebu Pacific has officially launched the direct flight between Cebu and Macau, which was opened last week.
Last week, Cebu Pacific seeking to expand the operation out of Central Visayas’ busiest airp[ort has finally launched a direct flight between Cebu-Macau.
The airline said that the one round-trip direct flight from Cebu-Macau or vice versa would be available only four times a week.
Cebu Pacific unit Cebgo president/CEO Alexander Lao described Macau as a perfect access point for both business and leisure.
“Macau is a perfect access point for business and leisure travelers alike. A direct Cebu-Macau route will provide a logistics support to further stimulate two-way trade and investments,” Lao said quoted by ABS-CBN.
Lance Gokongwei, CEO of Cebu Pacific announced that the Philippines’ largest carrier would have additional flights of about 20 percent to Cebu by next year.
Ceb Pac also said that would add more routes to Japan, Korea, and China aiming to reach its 22 million passengers target by the end of 2018.
Ceb Go and Ceb Pac have 27 domestic flights and 5 international flights directly from Cebu.
