Actor-director Eric Quizon shared how they did “hatian” of the properties of Comedy King Dolphy.
Dolphy passed away on July 10, 2012, and he left quite a number of properties under his name.
Eric shared what he and his siblings did.
Based on the article published in PEP, the One Great Love director is the administrator of Dolphy’s properties.
“Sabi ng mommy ko, ‘Bakit mo binibigyan ng problema si Eric? Baka mamaya awayin siya…’ Sabi ng daddy ko, ‘Hindi, walang ibang gagawa niyan. Siya lang.’ So, yung mommy ko, parang sige, ‘Okay, that’s your decision,’ at saka nangako naman ako sa daddy ko, so okey lang. So far, okey kami. Maayos naman lahat ever since,” he shared.
Eric added that for now, they are just waiting for the blessings.

Currently, he is administrating the construction of Dolphyville in Calatagan, Batangas. They are planning to put the Dolphy Museum there instead of their initial plan in Antipolo City.
The Quizon siblings will no longer transfer the remains of the King of Comedy to the Dolphy Museum from Heritage Park.
“We’re just waiting for the license to sell. After that, we can sell the property, phase by phase. It’s called Dolphyville in Calatagan. It has five hundred lots so it’s going to be good for the family. It’s just taking time but, at least, everyone will be okay, kaya lang medyo matagal, it’s been six years,” the actor-director said.
He also shared that even though Zsa Zsa Padilla, the former partner of Dolphy, is not included in the heirs, but she is still part of the decision making.

Eric Quizon still consults the Divine Diva before deciding on what to do with the properties.
“Even if Zsa Zsa is not an heir, ang usapan kasi namin before my dad died, kung anuman ang desisyon, consult Zsa Zsa or pag-uusapan namin ni Zsa Zsa, which we always do,” he said.
Zsa Zsa and Dolphy’s former home in Marina Bay, Parañaque City was under the name of the singer and that was not included in the estate.
“Kung ano lang ang naiwan sa estate, yun lang ang pinag-uusapan, but the rest, bago namatay ang daddy ko, binigyan na kami,” Eric said.
He added that everyone got their respective “mana” from the King of Comedy, based on the article.
