1 Dead, 18 Other Passengers Injured During A Road Crash In Batangas
ROAD CRASH – On Monday (December 3) morning, there was a road crash in Lipa, Batangas that left one dead, while eighteen other passengers injured.
An incident report from the police states that the driver drove a Nissan commuter van (Plate No. NDS 6161). He was ferrying 19 passengers and was traveling towards the city of Batangas when he suddenly lost control of the vehicle’s wheels due to a flat tire at around 6:30 AM.
A report in Inquirer states that the sole fatality of the incident was identified as Maxine Guinevere, who was reported dead on the spot.
The driver, on the other hand, along with eighteen other passengers were rushed to a hospital for treatment.
As per the report, the authorities are currently conducting further investigation. The identities of the driver and the 18 injured are yet to be confirmed.
