Jake Zyrus Reveals Oprah Winfrey Is Invited On His Wedding Abroad
JAKE ZYRUS – International singer Jake Zyrus revealed that American host Oprah Winfrey is invited on his wedding abroad.
Filipino world-class singer Jake Zyrus is formerly known as Charice Pempengco. A lot of his fans were shocked after his transition.
It’s known to many that Jake’s mother Racquel Pempengco is against his new identity. He got conflicts with her until now but he stayed to be that way because it makes him happy and feel real.
Jake Zyrus recently announced his engagement with his non-showbiz girlfriend Shyre Aquino. They are now taking their relationship to the next level and now preparing for the big event.
Based on a report from ABS-CBN, they have already thought of the date and it would surely be held abroad since it is not allowed in the Philippines.
Jake stated that he invited all the people that are special in his life. When he was asked about his family, he responded if his family won’t be present on their special day, he’s not even going to wonder why.
According to the report, Jake Zyrus was asked if he is also going to invite the American host Oprah Winfrey on his wedding.
Jake had his debut performance on the Oprah Winfrey Show in the US and that is where his career blossomed internationally. Oprah is also the one who labeled Jake as “The Most Talented Girl in the World”.
Oprah is one of Jake’s baptismal godparent when he transitioned from being an Iglesia ni Cristo to Roman Catholic.
According to the report, Jake Zyrus stated that Oprah is definitely invited on their wedding, that if she is not busy.
Jake said Oprah will just ride on her private jet if she’s available on that special day and if she would, it would make his wedding complete.
“Aba ay kung hindi siya busy, magpa-private jet lang yon…kung mangyayari ay kumpleto na po ang lahat,” he said.
Jake considers Oprah Winfrey as one of the very special people in his life. Oprah was present on all the changes in his life that is why he would love to see her too on his wedding.
