Pinoy Rock Icon Bamboo Jams Together With Singing Policemen At Davao Airport
The video of popular Filipino music icon ‘Bamboo’ jamming together with singing policemen at an airport in Davao City goes viral.
Francisco Gaudencio Lope Belardo Mañalac or popularly known as Bamboo is a Filipino musician and singer/songwriter.
Bamboo rose to fame during the 1990s after joining the Pinoy rock band called “Rivermaya” and fronted his own band ‘Bamboo’.
Most Filipinos recognized and acknowledged Bamboo as a legendary musician popularizing numerous hit songs in the Philippine music industry.
Recently, the Facebook page “Bamboo Music Live” has shared the video footage of the 42-year-old singer joining the performance of singing policemen.
In the video, it can be seen that Mañalac was singing Rivermaya’s hit song entitled “Elesi” together with the policemen.
Bamboo joined the cops after arriving at Francisco Bangoy International Airport in Davao City on Saturday (November 24, 2018) for another concert.
PO1 Rolando Opong said that they performed love songs, Christmas songs, and original compositions at the airport to give a warm greeting to all visitors.
