Here are the latest updates regarding the stranded passengers, vessels, and motorbancas due to the Tropical Depression Samuel.
Tropical Depression Samuel is currently traveling across the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) carrying strong winds and scattered to widespread rains.
Samuel packing maximum sustained winds of 45 kilometers per hour (kph) and gustiness of up to 70 kph prompted several local government units to suspend classes.
On Wednesday (November 21, 2018), the Twitter page “PhilippineCoastGuard” has released the latest updates of stranded passengers, vessels, and motorbancas due to the effects of Samuel.
All units of the Philippine Coast Guard are advised to strictly implement the HPCG Memorandum Circular Number 02-13.
The memorandum was giving guidelines on the movement of vessels during heavy weather condition, according to the social media page.
