No more swimsuit competition in Miss World 2018
Miss World 2018 will no longer have the swimsuit competition during the pageant.
Previously, the beauty contest held the Head to Head Challenge draw. Candidates were grouped into 20.
Each member of the group will have the chance to show the world their deeper sides through the questions asked to them.
There are other portions of the competitions that will be the basis in proclaiming this year’s winner such as the talent competition and other pre-pageant events.
On the other other hand, Miss World 2018 Swimsuit Competition is already eliminated.
Showcasing the confidence of contestants while wearing their swimwear has been a part of the beauty pageants around the globe.

Aside from their beautiful figure, candidates are also judged based on their confidence, poise, and how they carry themselves in the said attire.
However, this year’s competition is different from the previous pageants.
Candidates from around the world will no longer showcase their swimsuit on stage but there will be a swimsuit pictorial.
This set-up started in 2014 as the organizers of the pageant iterated that the competition is not merely based on beauty.
Meanwhile, here are some of the activities that the Miss World 2018 candidates did:
Mangrove Tree Resort Parade – Candidates were dressed in their national costumes as they paraded before the public.
Press Conference – The lovely ladies were introduce to the press and some of them had the chance to share about their Beauty with a Purpose project.

MobStar Meeting with Delegates – Miss World 2018 candidates met with MobStar Founder Brendan Morrissey, for their MobStar tutorial. This will be used to make content to generate as much interest as possible for the Miss World Multimedia Challenge.
