Ten Public Schools In Metro Manila To Learn Korean Language, According To Department Of Education

KOREAN LANGUAGE – The Department of Education recently revealed that 10 public schools were mandated to learn Korean language.

In collaboration with the Korean Embassy in the Philippines, DepEd signed the agreement to teach the Korean language in public schools. The said agreement will allow DepEd to introduce the Korean language in public high schools.

It aims to enhance the skills and abilities of the Filipino students when it comes to speaking, writing, listening, and reading the language through the help of the Special Program in Foreign Language (SPFL).

The Korean embassy was hoping that their language will be strongly implemented in order that Filipino student will be communicative competent. The new foreign language will be first introduced to 10 high schools in Metro Manila this year.
