Darna‘s Taping Is Postponed, Enrique Gil Reveals Reason Why
ENRIQUE GIL – Kapamilya actor Enrique Gil revealed the reason why the taping of the movie Darna is postponed.
Actor Enrique Mari Bacay Gil V or better known as Enrique Gil is the on-screen partner of actress Liza Soberano. She is set to a movie, Darna.
Following a previous article, Gil’s participation in Darna was canceled as he was offered another project.
The LizQuen tandem is preparing for a new movie project with the Black Sheep Productions which is also a brand of ABS-CBN films.
Based on a report from PEP, Enrique Gil gave some exciting details about his new movie with Liza Soberano during the shoot for 2018 Christmas station ID.
“Mas mature kami dito, it’s a more mature character. It’s not a fairytale, mas totoo siya,” Enrique said.
Their big-screen comeback will be directed by Antoinette Jadaone and is expected to be premiered by next year.
Meanwhile, Gil also revealed on the interview that there will be a temporary cancellation in the taping of the much-awaited Filipino movie Darna.
He disclosed that there will be some revisions regarding the script of the movie and the finger surgery of Liza.
The prominent actor expressed his concern towards her love team partner Liza Soberano who has to undergo that surgery for her own safety.
“Yes, she has to go a little surgery for her finger so magse-surgery for her finger niya,” he said on the interview.
According to the report, Enrique Gil said Soberano obtained the injury while she was doing some stunts on their previous TV series Bagani.
“Naaksidente siya sa stunt sa Bagani pa ito, medyo matagal-tagal na…Saka inaayos pa yung script ng Darna,” he said.
The Darna actress needs to undergo a medical operation because she cannot move her fingers.
“Kailangang operahan,” Gil added.
This Kapamilya loveteam has already previously revealed in public that they are special to each other even behind the camera.
