Miss Cuba Speaks, Denies “Harassment Testimonies” Of Other Miss Earth Candidates

Miss Cuba says something against “harassment testimonies” of fellow Miss Earth candidates.

The Miss Earth candidate Miss Cuba Monica Aguilar contradicts that a sponsor “harassed” her fellow candidates.

In some previous reports, a lot has reacted to the confessions and revelations of some of the Miss Earth candidates as the pageant has been held in the country. Miss Canada, Miss Guam, and Miss England expressed that they were “sexually harassed” by a sponsor and shared incidents where this particular sponsor has made them and the other delegates “uncomfortable” during their stay in the country.

Miss Canada Jaime Yvonne has shared, “At an event at the Manila Yacht Club he took all of the delegates in my group to his yacht and had some girls take sultry photos. Again, I was disgusted. Later in the pageant we had another sponsor event at the Manila Yacht Club and he was telling girls he could take them to Boracay, as long as we didn’t tell anyone.”

Miss Guam Emma Mae even dropped the name “Amado S. Cruz” who accordingly  did this as per her testimony, “Amado S. Cruz grabbed my bare backside at the National Costume Competition where I was able to push him away, but he consistently told me not to tell anyone about any of the instances.”

Miss England Abbey-Anne Gyles-Brown has revealed, “I enjoyed 50% of my trip but the other 50% was over shadowed by feeling exploited, vulnerable, unnerved & sexually harassed as I was approached by a sponsor on many occasions who asked for sexual favours in exchange for the Crown.”

However, this was all objected and contradicted by Miss Cuba Monica Aguilar who said that asking numbers and being invited to Boracay is not a form of harassment. She also experienced the same thing from a sponsor but when she firmly refused, that was the end of it.
