Pinoy Singer Marcelito Pomoy Receives Huge Gift From Ellen DeGeneres
The Filipino singer Marcelito Pomoy received an unexpected gift from Ellen Degeneres during his guesting on the international show.
Marcelito “Mars” Pomoy is a Filipino singer who rose to fame because of his ability to sing in both tenor and soprano.
Pomoy’s unique talent enabled him to be the grand winner of the second season of Pilipinas Got Talent, which opened doors of opportunity for him.
Recently, the Pinoy singer has been featured on the Kapamilya show entitled “Magandang Buhay” and shared his experience on Ellen DeGeneres show.
The 34-year-old singer shared that he received a huge gift from Ellen DeGeneres that gave him a worldwide audience.
The Filipino celebrity revealed that Ellen made effort to make sure that Filipino singers would have the chance to meet the popular singer Celine Dion on her concert in January 2019.
“Sabi niya sa akin, tutal paborito mo si Celine Dion, Celine Dion is my friend, tinawagan ko siya na papuntahin ka sa concert niya. Sabi sa akin papuntahin ka sa concert niya, manood at baka maka-duet pa. Then after noon, mag-backstage kayo para mag-meeting kayo,” Marcelito said.
The latter could not contain his emotions after getting a chance to have a short conversation with mother Anecita.
“Di bale pupunta ako diyan. Basta mag-ingat ka lagi diyan,” Anecita said.
