Facebook Users Can ‘Unsend’ Messages On Messenger Soon
The Facebook users could ‘unsend’ messages on Messenger soon allowing the account holders to delete the messages they have been sent.
Nowadays, Facebook’s Messenger has been one of the most popular social media platforms used as a communication tool.
Messenger allows millions of users to contact their friends, family, and loved ones via message or video call.
However, some netizens might accidentally send messages or photo containing incorrect or confidential content.
Good news, users can now immediately delete accidental messages that they have been already sent to the recipients.
Facebook Messenger also warned the users that they could only delete it only within 10 minutes after sending the accidental message.
“If you accidentally send the wrong photo, incorrect information or message the wrong thread, you can easily correct it by removing the message within ten minutes of sending it,” FB Messenger said.
The new option makes the deleted messages disappear to both sender and recipient.
Currently, Messenger can delete messages but it only reflects on the sender’s end and remains on the recipient’s thread.
