Actress Andi Eigenmann answered the issue that she is a selfish mother to her daughter Ellie.
Andi made a temporary hiatus from show business when she decided to live in Baler.
She shared in a previous article that she enjoys the simple life in the province and she even experienced riding a bus from Baler to Manila and vice versa.
It is also because of her love for surfing. The actress even said that a minor accident will not hinder her to surf.
On the other hand, Andi Eigenmann’s mother veteran actress Jaclyn Jose seemed to disagree with her decision to live in the province.
Indeed, Andi could not easily leave the glitz and glamour of show business as she recently guested in Tonight With Boy Abunda for her Best Actress Award at the International Film Festival in Manhattan, New York.
This is for her role in the movie Maid in London.
During the interview, Boy Abunda asked her to comment on the issue about people’s perception that she is a selfish mother.
The host said that there were some who said that Andi Eigenmann is thinking for herself first and not the welfare of her daughter with Jake Ejercito.

“Naniniwala po ako na hindi po ako pwedeng maging pinaka-best na nanay para sa anak ko if I’m not in my best self as well. Just because you have a daughter, hindi ibig sabihin kakalimutan mo na ang sarili mo because that’s how you’re able to love other people.You have to start with yourself first and I feel that that’s what I lacked in the past,”
