Netizens wrote mocking comments to the post saying that Manny Pacquiao will speak before the members of Oxford Union

Senator Manny Pacquiao, the Pambansang Kamao, is set to speak before the Oxford Union and several netizens wrote mocking comments about this.

The union is the prestigious debating society of the university. This will happen on November 5 and according to the article published in Philippine Star, most probably, it will be followed by his US press tour to promote his fight against Adrien Broner.

“Your strategic brilliance and your remarkable speed make you a truly legendary fighter. We would be delighted to hear more about how you stood above the characteristic trash-talking of big fights to stay focused on winning,” society president Stephen Horvath said to Manny Pacquiao.

In addition, Horvath said that the appearance of the Senator will be filmed for the YouTube channel of the Oxford Union.

Manny Pacquiao has the liberty to chose the date when he prefers to speak before the society. He can choose from October 8 to December 1.

Tom Brown, the secretary of Oxford Union said that it will be an honor for them to host the Filipino boxing champ who is now one of the Senators.

“It would be an honor to host Sen. Pacquiao and hear him discuss his career, both about his epic boxing journey and his career in Filipino politics, something which many of our members are watching closely,” the union secretary said.
