Half of P1.18 Billion 6/58 Lotto Jackpot Prize Claimed by Male Nurse Winner
6/58 LOTTO – A male nurse, one of the two winners of the P1.18 billion jackpot prize of the Ultra Lotto or the 6/58 Lotto, claimed his share of the prize.
Previously, thousands of Filipinos around the Philippines were hopeful to win the multi-million jackpot prize of the Ultra Lotto. The said prize has even surpassed P1-billion and reached Php. 1,180,622,508.00 before it was won.
On the October 14 draw of the 6/58 Ultra Lotto, two bettors got the winning combination which was 40-50-37-25-01-45.

According to the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), the 6/58 Lotto winners made their bets on lotto outlets in Lucky Circle Corporation, SM City, Legazpi City, Albay and Barangay H, Borongan, Eastern Samar.
Last week, one of the two winners of the 6/58 Lotto claimed his prize. According to PCSO, he got a total of P472 million. He is a middle-aged man who reportedly borrowed money in order to get to money to claim his prize.
Recently, another winner of the P1.18 billion Ultra Lotto jackpot prize claimed his prize.
Speaking to PhilStar, PCSO deputy spokesman Florante Solmerin expressed that the other winner who made his bet at a newly opened SM City mall in Legazpi City, Albay claimed his prize in Mandaluyong City.
The PCSO official said that the winner is a 30-year-old male nurse. He is married but he still has no children.
“He said they are still trying to have one [child],” Solmerin expressed.
Based on the report, the 6/58 Lotto jackpot prize winner considers himself poor citing that his profession is among the lowest-paid profession in the Philippines.
According to the PCSO deputy spokesman, the male nurse is a “contractual worker” who is currently having a part-time job.
Based on the report, the cheque amounting to P472 million was turned over by PCSO general manager Alexander Balutan to the winner of the Ultra Lotto jackpot prize.
“Like his advice to all past lotto winners, Balutan told the winner to spend the money wisely and find ways to make it grow,” Solmerin expressed.
