X-Factor finalist Pinay Maria Laroco shares experiences with 1D’s Louis Tomlinson.
PINAY MARIA LAROCO – One of the finalists from “The X-Factor UK” is Maria Laroco shared something about her experiences from the competition and with One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson.
Among the Filipino contestants who received a standing ovation during her audition in “The X-Factor UK” is Maria Laroco who flew all the way from the Philippines just to be at the competition to chase her dreams.
However, her journey from the competition has already ended but with the experiences she had, she claimed that she seemingly already won, especially, when she was able to personally met the judges, particularly, One Direction member Louis Tomlinson.
“I got a hug from him backstage. That was during the Six Chair Challenge. After the Six Chair Challenge, he approached me and he told me that, ‘You deserve that seat babe.’ I was like, ‘Aw, thank you!'” she shared according to a report from the PhilStar.

She was given a lot of challenges which stretched her capacities as a singer and indicated that Simon Cowell was not terrifying at all when he approached her after her audition at the backstage, her closest encounter with the judge at the competition.
She was eliminated during the contest’s Judges House episode held at US but Maria was denied a visa for she mistakenly applied for visitor’s visa instead of the one for the performers.

Also, she shared what Simon has told her, “Then he told me on the phone: ‘Promise me you’ll come back next year. And they cut it from the final episode but he also said, ‘If not, I will be the one to fly to the Philippines to get you here in the competition.’ So I’m going back because I have no intention of breaking that promise.”
For now, she is just hoping to grab an opportunity to perform with her idols, Sarah Geronimo and Morisette Amon.
