Comedienne-singer Ethel Booba breaks her silence on “political plans” for the 2019 elections.

On the other hand, netizens were not able to get what they asked from the comedienne. She did not file her certificate of candidacy (COC).
Regarding this matter, Ethel Booba expressed her thoughts about “political plans”.
“Masyado nang comedy ang politika natin wag na natin dagdagan ng isa pang katatawanan. Charot!” she said in a tweet.
She added that she does not fit in the world of politics.
“Politics is not for me. Ibigay natin yan sa tunay na may alam. Madami dyan karapat-dapat kaya dapat maging mabusisi ngayon sa pagpili ng iboboto. Hindi popularity contest ang politika. Charot!” Ethel shared.
She cited Senator Nancy Binay as someone who for her is fit to be in politics.
“I remember Senator Nancy Binay. We thought that she doesn’t deserve the Senate because her experience in politics was her 20 years OJT. Looking her now, she’s doing great in her position. Charot!” her tweet said.
Though she answers with jest the questions asked to her on Twitter, the comedienne-singer has serious point of views also.
When asked a follow-up question about the laws that Binay passed, Ethel Booba answered, “Three of her bills became law. Co-sponsor din ng Expanded Maternity Leave Law. Google mo na lang yung iba. Charot!”
Furthermore, a netizen asked her if she will let a politician pay her 1 million pesos for her vote, the celebrity answered it both with jest and seriousness.
