PCSO Speaks on Possibility that Foreigners can Join, Win the 6/58 Lotto P1-Billion Jackpot Prize

6/58 LOTTO – The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) spoke about the possibility that foreigners can join and win the P1-Billion 6/58 Ultra Lotto jackpot prize.

Thousands of people now are into lotto games. Undeniably, the 6/58 Ultra Lotto jackpot prize is very attractive. It can instantly solve even a clan’s financial insufficiency.

The 6/58 Ultra Lotto has the highest jackpot prize as of this writing. It has reached Php 1,112,647,388.00 on October 12, 2018.

Aside from the 6/58 Lotto, there are four (4) other major lotto games which also have multi-million jackpot prizes. They are the 6/55 Grand Lotto, 6/49 Super Lotto, 6/45 Megalotto, and 6/42 Lotto.

  • 6/49 Super Lotto: Php 15,840,000.00

With regards to the jackpot prize of the 6/45 Megalotto, it has recently been won by two bettors. The said bettors would share the Php 72,786,594.00 jackpot prize as they got the winning combination 23-26-12-10-36-30.

As of this writing, the PCSO has yet to announce the next jackpot prize for the 6/45 Megalotto.

Now that the 6/58 Lotto jackpot prize has exceeded P1-billion and there is a possibility that it will continue to increase, more and more people are joining the lotto games everyday.

Undeniably, there are people asking if foreigners are also allowed to join and can win the P1-Billion jackpot prize of the 6/58 Lotto. To this, the PCSO has given the answer.

Speaking to ABS-CBN News, the PCSO expressed that foreigners are also allowed to play the lotto games and they can also win.

Furthermore, according to the PCSO, the PCSO Charter or the Republic Act 1169 “does not state any prohibition on foreigners to play lotto”.

Pursuant to the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law, if a bettor(s) would get the 6/58 Lotto winning combination, the jackpot prize is subjected to a 20% tax deduction. The same rule applies to other prizes above Php 10,000.00.
