Recently, the photo of a computer in the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) allegedly using a pirated copy of Windows spread like a wildfire online.

In the photo, it can be seen that the computer shows a notification stating that the system is using a not genuine version of Windows.

Usually, the computer system notifies the users when the system detects anomalies with the installation.

However, there are numerous factors why the system shows the notification “Windows is not Genuine”.

Some social media users conclude that the airport was using a pirated copy of Windows to lessen their expenses.

There are some netizens explained that the installation of Windows is not completed neither the registry keys are corrupted.
