Senate Gives its Approval to the Universal Health Care Bill During the 2nd Reading
UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE BILL – The Senate Bill 1896 or the Universal Healthcare Bill gained the approval of the Senate during the 2nd Reading.
The Senate has given its approval to the Senate Bill 1896 which aims to protect the Filipinos’ right to health. It is also anchored on the goal to promote the health of every Filipino individual.
Based on a recent post of CNN on its Facebook page, with a 14-0 voting, the Senate approved the bill on the 2nd reading. It is now on to its third and final reading.
