Beauty Queen Katarina Rodriguez Stresses About “Authenticity”
KATARINA RODRIGUEZ – Recently-crowned Miss World Philippines queen Katarina Rodriguez took to the social media a message stressing about “authenticity”.
The Miss World Philippines 2018 crown was obtained by the beautiful Davaoeño, Katarina Rodriguez, last October 7 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
She performed very well on the pageant and brought home awards. As the newly hailed beauty queen celebrates her victory, she also has freed herself from self-doubt.
The beauty queen recently expressed her sentiments on Instagram regarding how she overcome confusions due to what other people do or say over the years.
Little do we know about the 26 years old beauty queen. She stressed how she was judged and criticized by the people from anywhere.
“People who know me, or don’t know me, who think they know me, or may have just heard something through some imaginary grape vine so to speak – giving me constant criticism, be it constructive or just flat out unnecessary,” she said.

Based on her post, some people constantly tell her on how to act, which way to go, not to post such, wear, or do things. The orders she was given made her confused on who she should be.
“Just be yourself, Katarina,” she told herself.
Nonetheless, she got the chance to find herself and had figured out who she is as a person and a woman.
Katarina let go of that four years of under pressure. She was also advised by someone not to doubt herself and to shake all off the negativities.
Katarina also shared that throughout the Miss World Philippines 2018 pageant, she kept a mantra on her head to just stay true to herself.
“…in a world full of many false things, it’s almost like magic to be something so real.”
She made herself a promise that if she’s going to win the Miss World Philippines, she will win it by being her authentic self and doing it in her own way.
On the last part of her post, Katarina gave her advice to the people who are currently struggling with self-doubt as she did in her previous years.
“Be who YOU are, the YOU of YOUR soul. With that and kindness you’ll stay golden,” she said on her post.
