List of Areas Affected by Flooding as of 3:00 Pm Crosses Social Media
FLOODING – On social media, a list of areas affected by the flooding as of 3:00 PM was recently posted.
The public is currently advised to monitor the updates about Typhoon Queenie. It is internationally known as Typhoon Kong-Rey. It may pass by several areas in the Philippines.
Meanwhile, the said typhoon is expected not to make a landfall. The latest forecast by PAGASA reported that it is expected to leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Friday, October 5.
Amid the monitoring on Typhoon Queenie, several places are currently affected by flooding. That is based on the social media post of MMDA Spokesperson Celine Pialago which is credited to “CCTV METROBASE/MMDA”.
Based on the social media post, as of 3 PM, there are 11 areas in the Philippines that are affected by flood. Some were gutter deep and tire deep.
