The Filipino basketball player Kobe Paras has called the public to understand depression and anxiety after experiencing it personally.
Kobe Lorenzo Forster Paras is a Filipino basketball player who rose to fame because of his incredible basketball skills and talent.
The young athlete has been also the headlines of several local news outlets and social media pages after joining foreign basketball team and decided to go back to the country.
Recently, the 21-year-old player made a social media post calling the public to understand depression.
In his Twitter post, the young Paras admitted that he once suffered from depression and anxiety.
Paras encouraged the social media users to be there for anyone who was experiencing depression.
The athlete also said that people should spread peace and love instead of hate and negativity.
