Alternative Med Doctor Says FDA’s Denies Her Due Process
An alternative medicine doctor cries foul over the alleged denial of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of her due process.
Dr. Farrah Agustin-Bunch, the doctor of an alternative medicine clinic, which was later shut down by FDA in Tarlac province was claiming that her due process has been denied.
Bunch wrote on her lengthy Facebook post that FDA Director General Nela Charade-Puno denied her due process and even neglect to verify it.
The medical expert has also expressed her disappointment towards Puno who ordered the closure of the clinic.
“What [Puno] did is clearly with malice and overwhelming neglect considering she denied my right to due process in a mad rush to pass judgment and inflict punishment upon me, which came in the form of the outright confiscation of my livelihood and worse, inhumane denial of care and treatment to my patients who are suffering and dying from advanced stages of cancer and other grave and serious illnesses,” Bunch wrote on her post.
FDA shut down Dr. Farrah Agustin-Bunch Natural Medical Center last month after the agency found that its herbal products were unregistered.
Dr. Farrah also explained that she had applied to register her products but FDA allegedly did not do something on it.
