Actor-director Coco Martin revealed the secret why his teleserye Ang Probinsyano is a great success.
There is no doubt that the Kapamilya action-drama series is one of the top-rated TV shows nowadays.
The primetime show was able to cater to different kinds of audience. Cardo Dalisay, the character of Coco in the series, has become a household name.
For three years now, Ang Probinsyano provided both drama and excitement to its viewers. Indeed, it is one of the most successful teleseryes of the Kapamilya network.
So why the series of Coco Martin became a big hit?
The actor shared the secret to this. Based on the article published in Philippines’ Ultimate Showbiz Hub, Coco said that the unpredictability of the scenes is a major factor of their success.
“Ang ano kasi ng Ang Probinsyano unpredictable eh, syempre inuunahan na namin ang iniisip ng mga tao di ba? inaassure namin na ibahin natin ang kuwento kumbaga bigyan natin sila ng ibang putahe sa gabi gabi ng panonood nila. Siguro yun ang isang way kung bakit sa tatlong taon nandyan pa rin sila para suportahan kami,” he shared.
Another factor that the actor-director cited is the fact that they give opportunity for inactive artists to come back in show business.
Coco believes in giving opportunities to others, especially to children, just like former child star Rhed Bustamante.
It can be recalled that former sexy performer Mystica and Man & Wife actor Cogie Domingo also expressed their desire to be in the show.
Coco sees the urgency to give that opportunity for talented actors and actresses.
“Ang kailangan ng mga tao eh oportunidad. Sabi ko nga nagbabalik tanaw ako wala naman tao nagbigay sa akin ng pera. Ang ibinigay sa akin opportunity,” he added, based on the article.
