Several local government units have declared class cancellations in some parts of the country due to impending Typhoon Mangkhut.

On Wednesday (September 12, 2018), the cl(–foul word(s) removed–) in several areas have been suspended due to the inclement weather condition.

The bad weather was due to the effects of Typhoon Mangkhut, which will be named “Ompong” once it entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

Class Cancellations

The state weather bureau PAGASA said that the typhoon has maximum sustained winds of 200 kilometers per hour and gustiness of 245 kph.

Mangkhut is being considered in the category of a super typhoon carrying ferocious winds and heavy rains affecting the Filipino people in different parts of the country.
