The former sexy actress Klaudia Koronel is one of the prominent in the field back in the 90s. She married a Chinese-American businessman but something about their marriage did not work out.
Now that she is back in the Philippines to sell one of her properties, she shared what happened to her for the past years.
She will return to the United States on October 5.
In a report from PEP, she narrated that before her wedding, she refused to sign a prenuptial agreement which really affected her relationship with her ex-husband.
She believed then that it would be forever. She was so in love with him.
“Inuna ko ang pagmamahal ko sa taong… iniwan ko kayo, iniwan ko yung career ko, iniwan ko ang family, iniwan ko yung anak ko, dahil sa pagmamahal ko sa lalaki,” she said.
He was accordingly not happy despite their financial stability.
She added, “Parang hindi pa rin siya masaya. ‘Tapos, konting problema lang, ‘I will divorce you!’ Konting ano lang, tinatakot niya ako.”
There was no third party involved in their separation and she was not physically abused. However, she admitted that he may never hurt her physically but verbally, he did.
“Ano lang, verbal abuse—yung panda-down, minamaliit yung pagkatao mo.”
She got depressed over their divorce with no apparent reasons and causes at all.
Depression triggered her to almost take her own life.
Koronel attempted to commit suicide. She took the substance used for doing euthanasia and even tried to end her life by cutting her wrist.
Also, after their divorce, they are still living together under the same roof.
“So umiwas na lang ako, naghahanap na ako ng ibang room. Hanggang sa hindi pa rin ako pinapaalis, ang sakit lang na tinitingnan mo siya may kausap na siyang ibang babae. Masakit,” she said as per report.
Furthermore, “Nagde-date na siya, nasa bahay pa rin ako, naghihintay pa rin ako sa kanya. Alam mo kung paano lang kami nahiwalay? Nakialam na yung nanay niya.”
