The state weather bureau PAGASA has released the latest weather updates after two low-pressure areas have been spotted within PAR.
On Friday (September 7, 2018), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) released the latest weather updates in the country.
PAGASA reported that at least two Low-Pressure Areas (LPA) have been spotted within the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
One of the LPA was last seen about 620 kilometers northeast of Basco, Batanes bt not expected the affect any part of the country.
The other low-pressure area was located at 95 kilometers west-northwest of Calapan City in Oriental Mindoro would affect the country’s weather condition.
The southwest monsoon and the second LPA would bring rains over most of Luzon and some parts of the Visayas.
Metro Manila and most parts of Luzon would have cloudy skies, scattered rain showers, and thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms accompanied with occasional rains would be experienced over parts of Western Visayas.
Mindanao region would have a clear weather condition but might experience possible isolated thunderstorms.
