Burt Reynolds who was known for his charming smile with his mustache has died at the age of 82.
The actor who was famous for his role in the movie ‘Smokey and the Bandit’ passed away due to cardiac arrest.

Born as Burton Leon Reynolds Jr. in Waycross, Ga, he first found a career in football at Florida State University for two years. However, he did not pursue it because of a knee injury due to a car accident.
He then moved to New York where he focused on his acting career.
In 1958 he appeared in TV series ‘Flight’. This was credited to be his first TV appearance. Following that stint, he also had several guest appearances in  ‘Alfred Hitchcock Presents,’ ‘Perry Mason’ and ‘The Twilight Zone’.
Burt Reynolds rose to fame through his role as Lewis Medlock in ‘Deliverance’ back in 1972. Since that big break in Hollywood, he appeared in about 200 movies throughout his career.

The actor dated his co-star in ‘Smokey and the Bandit’, Sally Fields, for five years and they appeared in four movies together. They got separated in the 1980s.
He then married actress Loni Anderson in 1988 but they got separated also in 1994. After that, he married English actress Judy Carne from 1963 to 1965.
Reynolds admitted that his separation with Fields was one of the biggest mistakes he even done in his life. He even said that she is the love of his life in an interview.
His last completed film is set to be released in cinemas this coming December 2018 with the title ‘Defining Moments’.
