ABS-CBN Reacts To Blind TNT Finalist Carl Malone’s Complaint

This is the reaction of ABS-CBN to the compaint of blind TNT finalist Carl Malone Montecido regarding his P100K consolation prize.

‘Tawag ng Tanghalan’ Season 1 finalist Carl Malone Montecido claimed that he has not received his P100,ooo consolation prize until now.

Previously, stage director Paul Ballano revealed on his Facebook that the blind singing contestant from Bacolod relayed to him the story.

According to his post, Carl complained that until now he is waiting for the consolation he got from the singing contest in ‘It’s Showtime’.

On the other hand, the wife of the former TNT contender, Cris Y-m Montecido, disproved all his claim.

Based on the Facebook comments of Cris, Carl and his mother are just making up stories. She even said that they’re good in manipulating the story in order to get the sympathy of people.

The article previously published also stated that Cris said that Carl Malone’s claim regarding his consolation prize is not true. It is because he already had it.

Regarding this issue, ABS-CBN took an action through director Laurenti Dyogi.

According to the article published in PEP, a day after Ballano posted the story on his Facebook account, the network addressed the issue.

The stage director met Carl Malone Montecido in Bacolod last August 26 and he posted about it on August 27.

On August 28, Ballano said that ABS-CBN  already called to the former TNT contender.

He also revealed that one of the people who first took an action about the complaint of Carl is Direk Lauren.

Based on the statement from Ballano, the Kapamilya network clarified that the blind aspiring singer already got his consolation prize.

What Carl has not received was his talent fee from concert and shows they did before.

In additon, the network is just asking an authorization letter from Carl Malone in order for him to claim his TF,
