Mother Lily Monteverde requested something from Vice Ganda during the celebration of her 80th birthday

‘It’s Showtime’ host Vice Ganda received a request from Regal Films matriarch Mother Lily Monteverde during 80th birthday celebration.

The party was indeed a star-studded gathering and prominent people from politics and business were also there.

It was about the birthday wish of the Regal Films matriarch.

“Birthday wish ko talaga na makagawa ang best favorite kong ito (Vice) ng movie sa Regal,” the 80-year-old said.

This received a positive comment from the Kapamilya comedian.

“Gawin natin Mother, promise, matutupad iyan,” Vice Ganda replied, based on the article.

The host-comedian had been making movies under Star Cinema and Viva Films over the years. He has not done anything yet under Mother Lily’s film company.

Apparently, the ‘Gandang Gabi Vice’ host is willing to grant the wish of the Regal Film matriarch.

That birthday celebration of the woman who is one of the pillars of entertainment industry was the highlight of last weekend.

Meanwhile, Regal Films or Regal Entertainment was the brainchild of Mother Lily back in 1962. The company started as a distributor of foreign films but in 1976, she asked her father Remy to produce her first movie.
