Based on the article published in Bandera, the Pinay beauty queen is number two in the list of Top 10 crowd favorite. Together with her in the list are Miss Universe 2018 candidates from Vietnam, Peru, Panama, USA, Mexico, Brazil, etc.
Aside from this standing, Catriona also got the number 16 spot in continental clustering when it comes to evening gown catwalk. This was chosen from the group of candidates coming from countries in Asia-Pacific and Africa.
Her standing now, based on this, could mean that she has a great chance to bring home the Miss U crown after Pia Wurtzbach last 2015.
Compared to other candidates, it was said that the intense patriotism of Catriona could be her strong point in the pageant.
Based on the article, Pinoy pageant fans are crossing their fingers that the beauty queen from the Philippines will not be overpowered by a transgender contestant from Spain.
Angela Ponce was crowned as the Miss Universe Spain 2018, the first ever transwoman who is set to compete in the international pageant.
