Jon Lucas of Hashtags Enjoys Being a Family Man
JON LUCAS – Hashtags member Jon Lucas confirmed that he is now a married man and they have an eight-month-old baby.
One of the members of the all-male dance group Hashtags which was launched in the ABS-CBN noontime variety show It’s Showtime is Jon Lucas. However, starting March 2018, he is seldom seen on the show.
Jon‘s Hashtag co-member Jameson Blake previously broke his silence on the former’s absence on the show and claimed that he was on an “indefinite suspension” together with their co-member Bugoy Cariño.
During that time, there were rumors that Jon Lucas and Bugoy Cariño got their girlfriends pregnant that is why they were faced with suspension. Jameson Blake refused to comment on the issue and stressed that he is aware but he does not know anything about it.
Hashtag McCoy de Leon has spoken on the issue but he only stressed that both sides, the management and their group, have reasons on what was happening.
Based on a recent report on Pep, speaking at an exclusive interview for the ABS-CBN show Rated K, Jon Lucas confirmed that he is now a father. It’s been almost five months since the Hashtag member was inactive on It’s Showtime.
According to Jon, he wanted to focus on giving time to his family. He also reportedly introduced his partner, Shy Feras, who is also one of the female dancers in the ABS-CBN show. The Hashtags member revealed that they got married on October 25, 2017.
“Hindi naman talaga totally sinuspinde. Pinagbigyan lang nila ako na, ‘Sige, pahinga ka muna. Pag okey na, pag maayos na, saka ka na lang bumalik,” he said.
Based on the report, Jon Lucas stressed that the passing of his mother was hard for him. The Hashtags member also lost his means of earning. Meanwhile, according to him, the sadness that he felt was replaced by joy when his baby came.
Currently, many of the fans and supporters of Jon Lucas are looking forward to his total comeback on showbiz. Meanwhile, they understand that he is now a family man who prioritizes his time for his baby and partner and they are happy for him.
