According to him, he was coming from St. John’s Institue Ayala North Point and  was heading to Bacolod City when a Ceres Liner bus ignored the red light.

He also said that in that area, it is a common situation that cars and motorcycles are just passing through the stop signal.

The bus from a large bus company in Bacolod also did the same wrong doing.

Lacson also called out the attention of the bus company to reprimand their drivers regarding this mistake and train them well on proper road safety.

Here is the post from the netizen:

Coming from St. John’s Institue Ayala North Point and heading to Bacolod City, I usually see cars and motorcycles running through this red light. It’s a very dangerous practice. Here’s a Ceres bus clearly ignoring the red light and running through it like it wasn’t there. This driver should be reprimanded and all their drivers trained properly on proper road safety. Or should we wait for a serious accident to happen before doing something about this lack of respect for traffic control signal and very dangerous practice?

This occurred on 8/2/2018 at around 2:45 pm.

Netizens who reacted to this post also criticized the driver of the bus.

“Matitigas ang ulo. Send the video to the company,” Facebook user Aries Custodio said.

“I guess driving in the philippines, every sign means YIELD or GO FASTER,” Facebook user Laura Aquino said.
