Google’s Android Pie features and significance for the future smartphones that can address several technology issues have been finally revealed.
Google has already released “Android Pie” the latest version of its mobile operating system (OS) packed with new features and offering significant enhancements over Oreo version.
The tech Giant revealed that the recent mobile OS contains features that could resolve technology problems such as phone addiction and privacy.
Both Google and Apple realize the consumer’s addiction to their phones, so they introduced some features that can help users to resolve this problem.
The tech company announced its “Digital Wellbeing” tools and a dashboard showing how bad the users’ problems based on how many minutes they spent on each app.
Android Pie has a timer that grays out apps after a set period of time and has a transition from phone time to bedtime with a grayed-out screen.
It has also a switch disabling work mode, which is separate from personal profiles on the device.
Pie has software that ca fix to help extend the battery life of smartphone and automatically adjust the screen brightness.
Android P also adds an additional protection for the users’ privacy such as permissions change and asking permission to access call logs.
The new operating system removed some buttons and replaced them with voice and gesture controls and based system.
