CJ Ramos Opens Up About Family Life, Struggles
CJ RAMOS – Former child celebrity CJ Ramos revealed how his family lost almost PHP 1 million savings supposedly intended to be used for his studies.
Based on a report, many people were surprised by the arrest of former child star CJ Ramos or Cromell John Ocampo in real life. He was nabbed by the authorities during a buy-bust operation in Quezon City.
The former child star was not the target of the authorities but he also bought drugs when the operation was conducted thus leading to his arrest. As per a report, he admitted that he got hooked in using it for several years but claimed that he has already stopped for a year.
Many won’t surely forget CJ Ramos. He is the batchmate of actress Shaina Magdayao in showbiz and he has also worked with several other actors and actresses including Paolo Contis.
Based on a recent report on Pep, speaking to Korina Sanchez at an exclusive interview for the ABS-CBN Sunday show Rated K, CJ Ramos opened up about his life prior to his engagement to drugs and after his showbiz career became inactive.
According to the former actor, he was in high school when his career became inactive. He revealed that he has put something from his earnings as an actor but they slowly lost those investments.
Based on the report, CJ Ramos also shared that he has saved almost PHP 1 million and he was planning to use it for his studies. However, someone borrowed money from them and did not show up again.
“Tinakbuhan po kami ng isang taong nangutang sa amin,” he said.
The former child star expressed that they were “zero” since then and they struggled. According to him, their struggles perhaps caused him depression and later on, he started using drugs.
Based on the report, CJ Ramos used to turn to drugs to forget his problems in life. Later on, he realized its effect on him and he also came to the point wherein he decided to stop using it.
“Dahil na rin po sa mga magulang ko. Dahil po nakikita kong malungkot sila. Dahil sa anak ko rin po. Sinubukan ko talaga tumigil,” he said.
The 31-year-old former child star has a child but the kid is living with the mother and he has not seen his child for a long time now. On the night of the operation, according to him, he was about to do the laundry but he experiences body pains and he needs to be energized so he decided to buy.
CJ Ramos is regretful over his move. He is apologizing to his mother and he is greatly desiring to be freed and live life with his family.
