COMELEC Satellite Registration Begins

COMELEC SATELLITE REGISTRATION – The Commission on Elections is conducting satellite registrations in line with the upcoming national and local elections 2019.

Undeniably, the election is one of the widely-participated events in every country including the Philippines. A huge part of the population of the Filipino people really makes the time to vote on the election day whether it is a local or a national bid.

Based on a report, the most recent national election done in the country, the 2016 Election, had five presidential candidates – former Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte, Senator Grace Poe, former Vice President Jejomar Binay, former Interior Secretary Mar Roxas, and the late former Sen. Miriam Defensor-Santiago.

Former Davao City Mayor and now President Rodrigo Roa Duterte won the election.

For the Vice Presidency, Leni Robredo, the wife of former DILG Secretary Jesse Robredo, was proclaimed as the Vice President. However, former Senator Bongbong Marcos has filed an election protest and it is still ongoing.

The President and the Vice President are on their second year in service. Meanwhile, a Senatorial election and local election will be held in the year 2019.

The Commission on Elections is now conducting COMELEC Satellite Registration. Recently, on social media, a schedule of the COMELEC Satellite Registration for Region 1 was posted on the Facebook page COMELEC.
