UPCAT For A.Y. 2019: Last Day Of Filing For NCR Private School Students Gathers 10,000 People

10,000 Students, Parents Gather in UP Diliman for Filing of Applications for UPCAT 2019

UPCAT – The last day of filing of applications for the Philippines College Admission Test (UPCAT) for Academic Year 2019 for the high school students in the National Capital Region (NCR) gathered thousands of students and parents.

UP is undeniably one of the educational institutions that many Filipino students would want to be part of. Many high schools graduates look forward to taking their tertiary education at any of the UP campuses.

Based on a report, UP also administers an entrance examination which is called UPCAT. Every year, it never fails to gather thousands of applicants and test takers from different regions around the country.

The UP Office of Admissions has started receiving applications for UPCAT last July 16, 2018.

Based on a post on the social media page of GMA News Online, citing the information from the police and Super Radyo DZBB 594khz reporter Allan Gatus, around ten thousand students and parents gathered in UP-Diliman campus in Quezon City today for the filing of applications.

According to a GMA News report, today is the last day of filing for UPCAT for private schools students in the National Capital Region (NCR).

For the Academic Year 2019, the entrance exam will be administered on September 15 and 16, 2018 nationwide.
