Former CA Associate Justice Ricardo Puno Dies at 95
RICARDO PUNO – Former Deputy Speaker Robbie Puno announced that his father, former Court of Appeals Associate Justice Ricardo C. Puno Sr., passed away, July 25.
Recently, Robbie Puno took to his social media account an announcement that former CA Associate Justice Ricardo C. Puno Sr. died at the age of 95 years old. He has served as the associate justice of the Court of Appeals during the Marcos regime from 1973 to 1978.
Based on the post of his son, the late CA Associate Justice was appointed by former President Diosdado Macapagal as a judge when he won the presidency. The former President initially wanted Puno to run as congressman of the 1st District of Pampanga when he decided to leave his seat and run for vice president.
