Earthquake Shakes Part of Davao Occidental
EARTHQUAKE – The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) announced that a 4.1 magnitude quake hit Sarangani, Davao Occidental, July 25.
Recently, Phivolcs reported that an earthquake hit 05.18°N, 126.44°E – 110 km S 75° E of Sarangani, a municipality in the province of Davao Occidental. The quake with a tectonic origin has a depth of 014 kilometers.
According to Phivolcs, the quake hit the area at 1:19 in the afternoon today. There is no damage or aftershocks expected to be caused by the quake.
