Tropical Storm Inday Latest Update Released By PAGASA

The state weather bureau PAGASA has released the latest updates on Tropical Storm Inday bringing inclement weather condition over some parts of the country.

On Friday (July 20, 2018), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) released the latest reports about Bagyong Inday.

PAGASA said that Tropical Storm Inday enhances the southwest monsoon that would bring heavy rains over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.

The weather disturbance was last spotted at 995 km East Northeast of Basco, Batanes.

Inday has maximum sustained winds of 85 kilometers per hour (kph) and gustiness of up to 105 kph moving 15 kph at Northwest direction.

The weather agency also said that Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Bataan, Zambales, Batanes, and Babuyan Group of Island would experience light to moderate and occasionally heavy rains.

The weather bureau also advised the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods and landslides.

Bagyong Inday was expected to leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Saturday morning (July 21, 2018).
