Government Offices That Declared Work Suspensions (July 18)

Here are the government offices that declared work suspensions due to the inclement weather condition brought by Tropical Storm Henry.

On Wednesday morning (July 18, 2018), the Supreme Court (SC) has ordered the work suspensions in all courts in the National Capital Region due to the heavy rain pouring and flood threats.

Acting Chief Justice Antonio T. Carpio has ordered the suspensions of work in all courts of NCR including the offices of  Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, Sandiganbayan and Court of Tax Appeals.

Supreme Court Spokesperson Theodore O. Te said that Carpio announced the work suspensions due to the heavy rains and threats of flooding.

The Senate has also suspended the work because of the non-stop rain confirmed by Senator Gregorio Honasan II.

“Suspended ang work sa Senate,” Honasan said in a text message.

However, the bicameral conference committee on the proposed Bangsamoro Basic Law and the Senate Committee on Constitutional Amendments and Revision of Codes will be pushed through despite the suspension of works.
