Pinoy Boxer Manny Pacquiao vs Ukraine’s Vasiliy Lomachenko Match Fades
The match between the Filipino boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao and Ukraine fighter Vasiliy Lomachenko seems not likely to happen anymore.
On Monday (July 16, 2018), the Pinoy boxer Manny ‘Pacman’ Pacquiao flew back to the country on chartered Philippine Airlines and speculations regarding what lies ahead of him start to swirl.
The newly-crowned World Boxing Association (WBA) welterweight king threw out some names as his next target opponent including Ukraine’s WBA lightweight ruler, Vasyl Lomachenko.
Lomachenko is under the Top Rank promotion of Bob Arum like Pacquiao but the Ukraine boxer is not interested in fighting the Filipino boxing superstar.
Egis Klimas, Lomachenko’s manager said that the boxer will remain at 135-lb rank in the Lightweight division.
Klimas explained Pacquiao needs to come down at 135 if he wanted to fight Lomachenko saying that there will be no catchweight would happen.
“Pacquiao can make 135, to come in and compete for (Lomachenko’s) WBA title, Vasyl is the champion in that weight class, it’s a possibility. If we are talking 137 and 136, no, there will be no catchweight. If he wants to challenge, he needs to come down. We are not looking to go to 140 pounds. If Manny Pacquiao wants to fight Lomachenko, he can make 135 pounds,” Klimas said quoted by Manila Bulletin.
Pacquiao is left with a few more choices after Lomachenko expressed no interest for a match.
Pacman could possibly face ex-stablemate Amir Khan of England, Terence Crawford of the US and Danny Garcia of Puerto Rico as his next opponent.

For me best option is Crawford..Kind a sort of tune up fight for Pacquio-Mayweather 2 but Manny must win impressively against Crawford..
