Netizens Slam Dyan Castillejo Over Interview to Pacman
DYAN CASTILLEJO – Netizens slammed ABS-CBN sports reporter Dyan Castillejo over her controversial “your president” statement during her interview with Senator Manny Pacquiao.
Sen. Manny Pacquiao brought honor to the Philippines and the Filipino people once again as he defeated Argentinian boxer Lucas Matthysse yesterday. Their match was held in Malaysia.
Pacman is now the new WBA Welterweight Champion after winning the match against Matthysse. Based on a report, the family of the boxer-senator was there to show support to him and watch him live during his fight versus the Argentinian boxer.
As per another report, Philippine President Rodrigo Roa Duterte also flew to Malaysia to watch the Pacquiao-Matthysse fight. The 73-year-old President was even in standing ovation over the victory of Pacman.
One of the reporters who had interviewed Sen. Manny Pacquiao after the match is ABS-CBN sports reporter Dyan Castillejo. She asked the message of the boxer-senator to the Filipino people and to Pres. Rodrigo Duterte.
Pacman expressed his gratitude to Pres. Duterte and to all the Pinoys.
“We have a good president,” the boxer-senator said.
However, a part of the statement of Dyan Castillejo caught the attention of the netizens on the social media. Speaking to Pacman, she expressed “your President” while referring to Pres. Duterte.
Dyan Castillejo’s controversial statement elicited different comments from the netizens. There are those who criticized the ABS-CBN reporter while there are also those don’t see anything wrong about it.
